The Andes Education Fund Mission Statement
The purpose of the Andes Education Fund is to improve the education of remote, impoverished schools which are located in the Andes Region of Peru. We believe this can be accomplished by providing school supplies for both the teachers and students. These supplies include books, maps, art supplies, athletic equipment, photocopiers, warm uniforms, and projectors. We rely entirely on donor gifts; 100% of each donation goes directly to the fund; we have no overhead. The volunteers and director pay all of their own expenses on semi-annual excursions to the schools.

2019
2018-2019 brought changes, adventures, and progress. With our increased computer labs and books, more students qualified for college. Enrollment in all schools increased but new government officials cut off funding for food supplements, so we are now providing food for two schools. We continue to provide the necessary school supplies for each student, athletic equipment and uniforms.
